What is the best Canon prime macro lens ?

Question by Pigeon: What is the best Canon prime macro lens ?
I don’t know about lenses but I need a macro lens for jewelry and gemology photography, any advice would be really appreciated, thanks!

I love my Canon 100mm EF 2.8 Macro and I hear the 60mm Macro is just as nice. In the spring I shoot flower macro photography and the lens is tack sharp.

How much you make depends on if you are going to work for a company or if you are going to do freelance work. I know my son is going to college and he is getting a degree in Photojournalism. Your first step should be to check out the local colleges in your area.
